This original cover song "The Girl From Ipanema," was written by Antonio Carlos Jobim. However, I will perform it as "The Boy From Ipanema." Please stay tuned for my interpretation of Jobim's hit Brazilian Bossa Nova and Jazz song.
This song was first performed by Astrud Gilberto, and then remade by other artists such as Diana Krall. "The Girl From Ipanema" was inspired by Pinheiro, who was a gorgeous seventeen year old woman at the time.
Sway is a bolero-mambo written by Mexican composer Luis Demetrio, who sold the rights to fellow songwriter Pablo Beltran Ruiz. Sway was first recorded back in 1954 and has become a standard for both jazz and pop repertoire. Dean Martin first made the song famous with the Dick Stable Orchestra. It has also had many other successful cover versions, such as Michael Buble's version in 2003.

This song was first performed by the Jazz band "The Crusaders," and it was sung by vocal artist Randy Crawford. It became the groups most successful entry on the soul chart and was on the Top 40 single charts.
